What is free, and what unlocks
Lesson 1 (Meet the four coins), Playground, Silver secrets, and What can $10 buy stay free. Later lessons and the Coin War / Skip Race games need the one-time $4.99 lifetime unlock. A grown-up must solve the math gate before Apple shows the purchase sheet.
Restore a purchase
Reinstall, then open the lock on the home screen, solve the grown-up math gate, and choose Settings → Restore purchases. You can also use Restore on the unlock screen after the same gate. The unlock is tied to the Apple ID that paid. Family Sharing can share a non-consumable if you enabled it in App Store Connect.
Ask to Buy or purchases turned off
If the unlock button explains that purchases are turned off, a grown-up should check Screen Time → App Store / iTunes Purchases and Ask to Buy. Refunds and billing disputes go through Apple.
The app is offline
After install, lessons, playground, and silver secrets work in airplane mode. A live purchase needs a network so Apple can charge the Apple ID.
Reset progress
Open the lock on the home screen, solve the grown-up math gate, then choose Settings → Reset child progress. This clears stars and lesson history. It does not remove a lifetime unlock.
Parent gate
Parent Zone, Settings, purchases, Restore, and Privacy / Terms sit behind a random two-digit addition problem. Three wrong answers return to the home path. There is no Face ID shortcut.
